Varsseveld, The Netherlands, February 18, 2026: Kramp, the leading wholesaler of agricultural parts and accessories for agriculture, forest & landscaping and construction is strengthening its long-standing partnership with Austria-based logistics automation expert KNAPP, through the expansion of its warehouse automation in Varsseveld with KNAPP’s Order Storage & Retrieval Evo Shuttle system.
Members of the management teams of Kramp and KNAPP celebrated the completion and launch of first phase of expansion at Varsseveld, where they also agreed upon the next phase of upgrades that will include three palletizing robots, renewed conveyor systems, and packing machines.
The completion of the Evo Shuttle system marks an important milestone in the Masterplan, Kramp’s multi-year strategy to improve efficiency, scalability and process flow through automation and IT innovation in the distribution center in Varsseveld.
The distribution center at Varsseveld covers 70.000 square meters of area and stocks more than 500.000 products. KNAPP’s Evo Shuttle system enables fast and reliable goods-to-person order fulfilment by delivering these products directly to ergonomic picking stations. By bringing products directly to the workstation, the system eliminates unnecessary travel by order pickers, improving both productivity and working conditions.
Just Reinke, Head of Network Projects, Kramp, said: “Since the launch of the Evo Shuttle, we’ve made strong progress. Today, a vast majority of our small goods are already picked via the Evo Shuttle. The Evo Shuttle is a key facilitator in our growth plans, as it will significantly increase our flexibility and efficiency in the picking process. This project shows the value of working closely with a partner like KNAPP that allows us to respond to the growing needs of our customers, while increasing efficiency and improving the working conditions of our employees.”
KNAPP, a global expert in warehouse automation technology, software and related services, has been a strategic partner to Kramp for many years. In 2018, Kramp became KNAPP’s first customer to commission its goods-to-person automation technology called the Pick-it-Easy workstations. Since then, the partnership has continued to grow, with KNAPP supporting the ongoing development and expansion of Kramp’s multiple warehouse operations.
Bernhard Moik, Sales Manager, KNAPP, said: “KRAMP is a flagship project for modern agriculture logistics. We are proud to walk this path together with them and make a real difference in their business with our technologies.”
With the support and expertise provided by KNAPP, Kramp is better suited to respond to growing customer demand by future-proofing warehouse operations in Varsseveld.
