Strengthening green corridor in Neville de Poitou

3/1/2026 — Community

The CSR committee at Kramp France along with CSR manager Erik-jan Smit spent a day in nature, planting trees at a former agricultural plot, spanning 15,000 m². The plot is located in Neuville-de-Poitou and lies adjacent to Bois Cernin, a popular communal space.

Kramp has funded the purchase of this land to strengthen the local green corridor, ensure ecological continuity and support the free movement of wildlife. The trees, shrubs and plants chosen for planting are significant in combating two main challenges: the impact of climate change on green cover, and rocky soil in the are that hinders plant growth. In total, 1,081 plants have been chosen.

This project is a long-term commitment, supported by a 99-year environment agreement between the municipality of Neuville-de-Poitou and biodiversity promoter Créateur de forêt. Kramp Impacts is proud to support this project, which will improve the biodiversity in the area.
